Do I need to be a "member" to sell my products at the farmers market?
Not right away. You can sell two times per year at our market before you need to pay a membership fee of $30. This gives you a chance to try out the market see how it goes and then decide if you would like to continue.

Why would I want to be a member?
Membership dues which are $30 per year go toward advertising for the market, paying our amazing market manager Bob, and general upkeep of the facility. As a collective of vendors we are all working together for the success of the market. It also gives you the right to vote for board members and bylaw changes at the Annual Vendor Meeting. 

Do I need a Sales Tax number?
Yes! In order to sell anything in the State of Kansas you must have a Sales Tax ID number. If you do not have one and you are only planning on selling one time we do have "single use" Sales Tax ID available at the market. We do not police your collecting of sales tax, but we do turn in all vendors who sell at our market to the state.

Does my application need to be approved before I can sell?
Yes. If you have not filled out an application and show up to sell, you will still have to fill one out and receive preliminary approval the morning of the market. But it is best to send in an application well in advance of you actually attending a market.

Can I pick where my booth is located?
Certain booths are reserved ahead of the start of season and are reserved. Of the rest of the available stalls they are allocated on a first-come, first-serve basis. It is possible to reserve a booth at any point throughout the season. Just contact our market manager, or a board member.

How big are the booth sizes?
We will get back to you on that...I just need to find where I set my tape measure.
