Hello from the Millers (Greenfield Acres) located near Partridge.
Spring is here and we’re into gardening and fresh vegetables again, bringing fruition to winter catalog dreams. We are senior vendors; this will be our 24th year at the Farmer’s Market. Our children have all left the farm, but Roman continues to find his happy place in the garden and greenhouses, plants thrive under his care. Fresh lettuce and spinach were enjoyed throughout the cold months.
We plan to return to our well-worn stall on the west side of the market, coming only on Saturdays. May 3rd is opening day and we hope to have the following items on our table; asparagus, rhubarb, radishes, lettuce, green onions, and beets. Green beans, cucumbers, and cold crops should follow soon after. Fresh produce is our specialty and we continue with seasonal vegetables throughout the summer and fall. Our vegetables are grown in good Kansas soil, brought to you locally - from our farm to your table. Come see us, we value our faithful customers! Roman and Ruth Miller
