Earl and Pam Polk owners of Polks Farm Market have been growing fruit and produce for over 50 years.

Earl is one of the founding members of RCFM. His passion for sharing local produce with the community came from his late Grandfather Earl Stoughton of RiversBanks Orchard where he worked on the farm and in their roadside market.  Earl met his wife Pam at Riversbanks and married shortly after. Earl graduated from KSU with a degree in Fruit science and minor in horticulture . They bought an 80acre farm north of Burrton and started their own farm.  They purchased a roadside stand on old k61 where they sell to this day local grown fruits and vegetables and unique gifts “Polks Farm Market”. They have one child, Sparkle who still helps today along with her husband Luke and daughter Sophie and is also a long standing member of RCFM.

Earl and 4 others created the Reno county producers market to help sell local fruits and vegetables to Reno county residents. Earl passed away in July 7, 2021 here at the market . We miss him dearly but continue the tradition of being one of the oldest members of RCFM and providing locally grown produce to our wonderful customers.
